What’s the problem and how does VECS solve the issue?

The issue: Gas ships are not really empty after all the liquid gas is pumped to terminal.

It can be demonstrated that using VECS’ procedure may increase the revenue capacity of individual ships by more than 30% at same operational expense as today, which is why our technology is so compelling.

Old method

The vapours from the last gas cargo occupies the entire tank and has to be removed and replaced before a different cargo gas can be laden.
