Following submission of the final application and some clarifications with Gassnova SF an industrial research grant was allocated from the CLIMIT programme to Environgas led consortium for a total of up to 6,6 MNOK towards a project with a total budget of 18,8 MNOK.

Environgas AS together with Tritec AS at Bryne Norway and Büscherhoff Spezialverpackung GmbH &Co KG in Steinfeld Germany established a consortium for the development of the Environgas Rapid Purge Technology.

Environgas had a stand at the ONS exhibition in Stavanger and received good interest for its project.

Environgas passed the initial phase of EU-FP7 project support but discontinued its application in the negotiation phase, amongst others, due to the complicated bureaucracy for this type of project support.

Environgas is currently working with establishment of a prototype in order to verify and demonstrate that the technology can be installed on liquefied gas carriers for a CO2 and LPG dualtrade.

Environgas has, through Norner Innovation, successfully identified candidate materials for the bellow.
